Both teams completed their American pre-season tour with mixed results with the Blues coming out on top despite Roma grabbing the lead in the first half.
It was Erik Lamela who opened the scoring for the Giallorossi after the Chelsea keeper made a howler after a pass back found Schwarzer before a bad touch led to the ball hitting the post and rebounding back in time for Lamela to tap in.
In the second half after many changes were made for the English side, Chelsea finally kicked into gear with Frank Lampard equalising before Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku found a winner with just a minute to spare.
