Antonio Luna was the unlucky man who helped to concede Villa's first goal with Hazard's ball across the face forced the keeper to save and his save found the body of Luna and went in.
Villa equalised with Christian Beneteke finding a late goal in first half after he received a ball in from the flank before smartly finding the bottom left corner.
Chelsea would get the last laugh with Branislav Ivanovic heading home strongly to give his side the lead and eventually the win giving them a perfect start to the season so far.
