Watch all of the highlights and goals from the Japan vs Mexico in the Confederations Cup. Mexico record their first win of the competition but it was too little too late with the side unable to progress.

Japan probably were very unlucky not to come out of the Confederations Cup without any points after thoroughly dominating proceedings for most of this match.

Javier Hernandez scored a brace for the Mexico team and missed a third goal when his penalty was saved and then his follow up effort found the cross-bar.

Japan were able to score late but it was not enough with Shinji Okazaki finding the back of the net after some smart build up play.
