It was a tight match until part way through the second half when Mario Mandzukic scored to give the Baverians the lead. It was Robben who set Mandzukic up with a ball across goal for the Croatian to put in.
Borussia Dortmund were able to equalise however with Ilkay Gundogan scoring from the spot after Dante was sent off for a second yellow card for putting his stops into the stomach of Marco Reus.
Bayern Munich would have the final laugh out of the German duo with Arjen Robben finding the winner after breaking through the offside trap in the 89th minute to seal the match/
