Robert Lewandowski scored the first goal of the game with a quick shot finding the bottom corner. Madrid were able to hit back however after there was claims for a penalty at Dortmund's end, Real pushed forward with Higuain feeding Ronaldo the ball and an equalizer for the Spainish team.
Lewandowski put Dortmund back in the lead with a superb turn and finish early in the second half. The Polish international got his hat-trick with another great piece of individual play. Much like the second goal, he controlled it back and forwards with a shot finding the top right corner.
Lewandski scored his fourth goal from the spot this time after Marco Reus went down giving The German side a three goal lead into the next leg at Madrid
