PSG were at a disadvantage for most of the game with Marseille getting a goal first thanks to a poor challenge by Thiago Motta inside the box with the Italian seeing red before Andre Ayew converted the penalty.

The visitors however staged a comeback with Maxwell equalising on half time with Ibrahimovic's penalty the eventual winner.
