Manchester United played with a relatively under strength team but still were able to post four goals on the board compared to Norwich's nothing.
A double from Javier Hernandez in each of the halves was the main cause of the victory but two late goals from Phil Jones and also Fabio Da Silva ensured that the hosts would progress to the quarter finals.
