The match started with bad luck for Roma with Francesco Totti being substituted with a thigh injury in the midway part of the first half for Marco Borriello.
But they were the first to do damage with Miralem Pjanic converting from 25 yards out with a free-kick on half time before the Bosnian midfielder struck again in the second half with a penalty resulting in another win for the home side.
