Lazio came into the game wanting to make amends for the Italian Super Cup loss to Juve just two weeks ago but Arturo Vidal 's double had the Turin side two up in the first half before Miroslav Klose cut the deficit in half.
The reigning Italian champions didn't give their opponents a chance in the second half with Mirko Vucinic scoring right after the break before a Carlos Tevez goal capped off the solid win.
