Kevin Prince Boateng opened the scoring from outside of the box with the Ghanaian shooting low to find the bottom right corner.

It didn't take too long after the half time break for Milan to strike again with Mario Balotelli scoring after a corner was flicked on from Mexes to the former Man City player to shoot and find the back of the net.

Milan put the tie in no doubt when Boateng added a second goal and his team's third on the night. Boateng shot off his left foot with a small deflection of the defender enough to beat the keeper.
