It was Bayern's game to lose when they went three goals up thanks to a Thomas Muller spot kick and a brace from Mario Gomez which had all but sealed the win for the Baverians.
But the final minutes became tense with Martin Harnik producing 2 goals within 10 minutes to give Stuttgart a fighting chance.
However Harnik's side could not unseat Bayern of their winning position and had to succumb to a lose in what was a terrific match.
