Chelsea got themselves up when Ocsar opened the scoring with a deft header from a Juan Mata corner. Daniel Sturridge came on at half time for the struggling Coutinho and had an instant impact giving Liverpool an equalizer early into the second half.

Eden Hazard then put the away side into the lead with a spot-kick after Luis Suarez handled the ball in the penalty area.

Perhaps Suarez then should have been sent off for his next effort appearing to bite Chelsea defender Ivanovic on the arm. But he came from zero to hero to get a 96th min goal to give Liverpool a share of the points.
